Between July 1st and 4th, 2021, we had a marathon of defenses that featured 12 master's students.
Teyyuba Adigozalova and Michael Oyinloye, both from the CaRersS group coordinated by Professor Volker Vahrenkamp, reported a little about the development of their theses and also about their experience at KAUST and at the ANPERC center so far.
Watch the videos below and see the experience of each student:
Michael Oyinloye, from CaResS Geology group led by Prof. Volker Vahrenkamp, successfully defended his thesis entitled “Visualization and analysis of 3D pore network in Pleistocene reef colors from Shurayrah Island (Al Wajh N Red Sea)”.
Teyyuba Adigozalova, master's student from CaResS group, led by Prof. Volker Vahrenkamp, defended her thesis entitled: "High-Resolution Sedimentological, Petrographic and Petrophysical analysis of Late Oxfordian-Early Kimmeridigian (?) - Ulayyah Member, Hanifa Formation: Insights from behind the outcrop core WB-01."
Congratulations, Michael, Teyyuba and all the students who successfully defended your thesis!
We are very proud of you and wish you all the best!
