Research Interests

Dr. Zia Ullah’s research interest includes robust control drives and optimal design of permanent magnet type machines. His specific research interest is in the condition monitoring, different fault diagnosis, and fault tolerant control of PMSMs. He is also interested in big-data (machine/deep learning)-based predictive and/or preventive maintenance of machines in electric vehicles and industries.
