Research Interests

There is an overwhelming amount of information available about soil properties, characterization and behavior. There is also a relation between index properties and behavior, formation and history of soils. Databases permit the identification of cause-effect relationships and testing hypotheses about the behavior of materials and systems. My goal is to develop an extensive database of soil properties that could provide causal relationships between properties that can guide further research and uses of information such as prediction of unknown soil behavior based on known index properties.
