I am currently working on the study of the Quaternary in the Arabian Peninsula. In particular I am studying the paleolakes deposits and river systems in the Rub Al Khali Desert in South Western Arabia. In the future also the river systems inland of Al Wajh lagoon area will be studied. This study is linked with the Human presence in these areas during the Pleistocene and Holocene, that is strictly linked with the presence of water in rivers and lakes during humid periods.
