Research Interests

My current doctoral research targets understanding the fundamental mechanisms of polymer transport in porous media. I developed expertise in both microfluidics fabrication (silicon and PDMS microdevices) and flow experiments, single-molecule imaging techniques and synthesis of fluorescent polymers. My experimental experience is complemented by numerical simulation knowledge acquired through pore-scale and field-scale reservoir simulation of polymer-based enhanced oil recovery.
