Last week the SPWLA and ARMA student chapters hosted Prof. Tadeusz Patzek as a special presenter in their industry-focused seminar series. Professor Patzek's presentation, Industrial and academic research need each other to survive, was thought-provoking and was followed by insightful questions from the audience.

This discussion session was the second in a series of educational seminars proudly organized by the KAUST Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA student chapter, in collaboration with the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA) KAUST student chapters.
