ANPERC hosted the 2023 KAUST Research Conference  on Geoscience Best Practices for the Energy Transition: Geo models and Processes across Scales.

The three-day conference took place from 29-31 May 2023 and brought together international experts in the field of geoscience.

Participants had the opportunity to attend more than 30 presentations covering various topics related to the energy transition as well as panel discussions and poster sessions presented by ANPERC scientists. The conference also included a geological core display, which allowed participants to interact with different rocks from reservoirs, source rocks and seals.

The conference was sponsored by the Office of Research Funding and Services, highlighting its importance in advancing research in this vital field.

Overall, the KAUST Research Conference 2023 provided a capstone experience for researchers and industry professionals interested in the latest developments in geoscience and the energy transition.
