ANPERC Center Director Tadeusz Patzek has been elected to serve a four-year term on the Committee of Mining by the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Committee of Mining advises the Polish government on matters related to oil, gas, coal and ore mining. Professor Patzek will give a keynote lecture about the issues of producing shale gas and tight sand gas at the upcoming 12^th Polish Congress of Oil and Gas Industry Professionals which will be held from May 16 to 18 in Cracow.
