During the 10th Winter Enrichment Program at KAUST, Tadeusz Patzek gave a talk about the future of the human species. In it he condensed the last few hundreds of millions of years into a single day to put our brief past into perspective, before delivering a sober warning about our potentially brief future. Since January Dr. Patzek has repeated this message for the Science Crossroads Initiative, generating a great deal of interest both in and outside KAUST. We present here the slides Dr. Patzek used during his presentation.
