October saw the arrival of our new Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Victor Torrealba. Torrealba comes from Venezuela and earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University in the United States of America. At the same university, he was awarded his Ph.D in 2017. During his studies he was a Petroleum Engineering Intern at Chevron in Houston, Texas. At ANPERC, he joined the group of Professor Hussein Hoteit. Torrealba: "Since my arrival at KAUST, I have been truly amazed by the positive energy around campus. Specially in ANPERC, you can feel the high level of collaboration from researchers with very different backgrounds. In my opinion, that makes our center quite unique, and I am eager to take full advantage of this opportunity."
