​In Saudi Arabia, where air conditioning is a large part of energy consumption, the climate is warming almost three times faster than the world as a whole. Staying Cool in A Warming Climate: Temperature, Electricity and Air Conditioning in Saudi Arabia is a collaboration research project of ANPERC and KAPSARC (King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center).
