Among the most important oil and gas technology conferences in the Middle East, the SPE KSA Technical Symposium and Exhibition (SPE ATS&E), which took place the last week of April in Dammam, featured ANPERC’s leadership sharing key insights into the future of the global oil and gas economy.
Professor Tadeusz W. Patzek, ANPERC Center Director, was part of the Executive Panel Discussion together with Nasir K. Al-Naimi, Vice President of Petroleum Engineering & Development in Saudi Aramco, Ashok Belani, Executive Vice President Technology in Schlumberger, Kishore Sundararajan, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President Engineering in GE Oil and Gas, Federico Justus, President of Regions Operations in Weatherford, and Dr. Ali Al-Meshari, Manager of EXPEC Advance Research Center in Saudi Aramco.
The conference included talks about the Future of Energy, Oil and Gas and the Economy in the industry using new technology through research.
During his discussion, Patzek drew attention to the increasing pressures on the oil and gas industry, and the critical role that indsutry organizations like SPE and academic institutions like KAUST and ANPERC must play going forward.
