Niccolò Menegoni is a postdoctoral fellow at the Ali Al-Naimi Petroleum Engineering Center at KAUST. He is working on geomechanics and structural, geology with special emphasis on fractured rock masses. In particular, he focuses on the development and use of innovative techniques for fracture mapping, parametrization and analysis using digital outcrop models (DOMs), and their applications in geoengineering, geophysics and tectonics. He received his MSc in Dept. of Geosciences of University of Padova (Italy) and PhD in Dept. of Earth and Environmental Sciences of University in Pavia (Italy)
