​Bio: Abdullah is a Lead Exploration Geophysicist in Eastern-Area Exploration Department at Saudi Aramco. He holds Ph.D. Degree in Geophysics from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), an M.Sc. degree in Geophysics from Stanford University, and a dual bachelor degree in Geosciences and Computer Science from the University of Tulsa. His educational background is in developing algorithms and workflows to enable full-waveform inversion, advanced imaging, and interferometry applications to field data. In Aramco, Abdullah has been working mostly as a prospect generator for several gas discoveries and successful delineations. Currently, he is interested in developing ways to help his team expedite the prospect generation process through automation and machine learning.
