After her graduate ErSE seminar, the Honorary Lecturer of SEG, Ms. Maria A. Capello will deliver a briefing about the SEG Women's Network Committee, an initiative launched by the Board of Directors of SEG to empower the participation and success of women in Geophysics round the Globe. The session will raise the awareness about the activities steered by this committee for the SEG membership, the activities programmed by the WNC during the Annual Meeting in Anaheim, and the resources available to boost the presence, soft skills, and technical skills of women in the workforce of the oil and gas industry and in Geophysics at large. A session of Questions and Answers will end the session, enabling the opportunity for attendees to inquire about their own paths for enhancing the value they obtain from SEG. This session is open to enyone and everyone who wishes to attend, and will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in Lecture Hall 1, immediately following Ms. Capello's seminar entitled "The Evolving Challenges of Geophysicists - From Amplitude Mappers to Partners in Drilling and Water Search."
