Professor Holger Ott from Montan University, Leoben, Austria will give a seminar about Geological Carbon Storage: Processes, Risks and Opportunities. The seminar will be hosted by Senior Research Scientist Thomas Finkbeiner of ANPERC. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a technology with a high potential to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, and potentially even achieve a negative CO2 footprint – i.e. an active transfer of CO2 into the long-term carbon cycle.
