What time does the conference start?
The KAUST Virtual Research Conference will start at 2 PM (14:00) Arabian Standard Time between the dates 22-24 February, 2021. Each day will conclude at approximately 7 PM (19:00) Arabian Standard Time.
Is the Conference open only to the KAUST Community?
No. The conference is open to all who wishes to join and will be accessible primarily through zoom. If you wish to participate, please register on the 'Registration' tab. Once you have registered for the KAUST Virtual Conference, you will receive a zoom link to attend the conference virtually.
I would like to attend the 2021 KAUST Virtual Conference at KAUST, can I visit KAUST?
The KAUST Virtual Conference will be hosted virtually between 22-24 February, 2021. Upon registration, you will receive a link to attend the conference virtually. KAUST Community members may register and attend the sessions in Building 20, however, the sessions will be broadcasted in the Auditorium. Some presentations may be conducted live in Building 20, but most of the sessions will be a mix of pre-recorded and live presentations from around the World through Zoom.
If I register my ePoster, do I still have to register for the conference?
Yes, if you are a student planning to submit an ePoster, you will also need to register separately for the Conference. The ePoster registration is simply for students who wish to submit their ePoster presentations. Remember, the deadline to submit your ePoster is the 20th of February, 2021 at 5 PM Arabian Standard Time.
