Professor Rosalind Archer addresses a range of energy-related research topics including petroleum and geothermal reservoir engineering, gas hydrates and carbon dioxide sequestration. She is the Head of the Department of Engineering Science within the Faculty of Engineering. Rosalind holds a BE degree in Engineering Science from the University of Auckland and MS and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University. She lectured at Stanford and at Texas A&M University before returning to New Zealand in 2002.
