Ethernet cables and wireless will be available to you to use during your stay at KAUST INN or KAUST INN 2. The front desk can assist with any connectivity issues or other questions you might have.

Reminder for electrical devices: power outlets are 220V/60Hz, and the plugs are Type F plugs. You are advised to bring any adapters you may need. Be sure to check whether your electronic devices (such as laptops) are dual voltage or rated for 220V.

Transportation within KAUST

ANPERC faculty and staff will provide detailed information and reminders to ensure your timely and comfortable transport around the campus, for meals, and special events.

Should you wish to explore the campus on your own, university shuttle buses provide transportation to the KAUST community with regular bus routes within KAUST, color-coded as orange, blue, gray, green, red, and yellow with specific routes.

For guests who wish to walk to the Auditorium for the Research Conference sessions, please allow approximately 10-15 minutes of walk time. Upon exiting the entrance of either KAUST INN or KAUST INN 2, turn right and walk towards the Samba Bank building, then walk right to Discovery Square. Head left through Discovery Square to the large campus buildings. Walk across the street and up the stairs. At the top will be Building 18, the student center. To your right is the first large building on the campus—this is Al-Kindi (Building 5). Walk through the breezeway where you will see a large metal sculpture, Star Projector. Once you have arrived at the Star Projector, stop, turn left and walk down the steps. You should see a large banner and/or staff to assist you.
