In the course of her 35-year career in the geothermal industry, Ann has worked on geothermal projects in 27 countries, including more than 55 that have been developed for power generation (with a combined capacity of nearly 6,700 MW), and an equal number of projects at earlier stages of exploration and development. For developing projects, Ann’s work includes integrated analyses of multi-disciplinary data sets, which are used develop focused exploration programs and identify drilling targets. In operating fields, her focus is on practical methods to increase resource sustainability and longevity. For projects at the expansion stage, she uses a combination of geoscientific and reservoir engineering data to validate the viability of adjacent areas for development.
